I love you; I love you
And I’d love you again
I can never stop loving you
And that is my sin
You are the soul of my rayless dreams
And the life that shines in my eyes
You are the rain of my voices ring
And you are the ocean that drowned my cries
I have heard your song through all my life
Though it was only recently that I found the light
I ran to you with open arms
But you rejected me and my harms
Breathlessly I sleep
Whispering of my timeless keep
Trapped in my hearts silent beat
I listened for the rhythm of your calming feet
But the toneless surroundings swallow me in
And it’s from there I begin
Screaming in rage of an ever burning flame
Of a feeling that will always remain
I love you; I love you
