Perfect World- what a thought
Any world I could create
With a swish of my hand
Imagine what would await
Fairy tales come true
Except there’s no wicked witch
Dragons, fairies, unicorns
A place where everyone could find their niche
Tall towering castles
Beautiful damsels in distress
Handsome princes to their rescue
Riding upon their steeds with finesse
Every house with a full family
Never missing occasions because of work
Everyone had exactly what they needed
No more big boss to call you a jerk
Endless fields of daises
Where all the children laugh and play
Mom at home cooking dinner
Dad working in the fields all day
Everyone has that best friend
To make secret pacts with under a tree
And everyone knows that they’ll fall deeply in love
But they’d deny it, blushing and kicking their feet
No one would ever be sick
And certainly no one would die
Everyone was always welcomed
Seen always through the same eyes
Oh what a world I would create
What a wonderful place it would be
So unlike this world we must live in
Every day we must awake and see
