Chikapappi

 I guess by now y’all are familiar to the fact that I have to rebel and rant about things that bug me. I was so busy the last coupla days, I am now so exhausted, I dwindle bit by bit feeling light as if walking on air.
    We had an exhibition to sponsor and it gets hectic getting ready for that and making sure that everythin’ rolling but as I stood there contemplating the whole thing I thought: “Ya nas! How do you introduce a solution that people (some of them) don’t even understand or never heard about!?”. “How do you convince them into doing business with you, while your marketing plan is so so, ya3ny kinda weak!?” I burst into crying laughter from some of the visitors at the stand because they have no freakin clue, what’s going on that’s number one and the second thing is when they come and ask: “sho etbe3on!?” 6ama6em 7ajji!Weird but I seriously think that exhibitions now are for companies to show off their stands and chocolate selection and “selected employees” akeid y’all know what I mean! By 8 somethin’ yesterday, I was dead beat and now am dead tired, sleepy, drowsy.. all the words to describe the fatigue “Je suis tres fatiguee!”

Seriously, this is what I really believe from my experience in participating in exhibitions:

1. Lots of money go on flowers
2. Why don’t they have buffets!?! One would pass out from hunger or thirst!
3. Girls are excellent marketing “tools”
4. Some companies just wanna be THERE at any given event
5. Some companies have silly logos and slogans
6. Some companies would throw thousands of kds to get a booth that looks like crap as they think it’s supernatural and unique
7. Lately, mashallah all the girls wink a lot and are super nini mini nice and sweeeeeeeet like Betty Boop look alikes
8. I can swear and I am sure that people come to exhibitions for gift items and I try to find fun ways to attract them
9. I was so stupid at the beginning of my career, I couldn’t open my mouth with a single word about anything and I was like a part of the stand
10. Some marketing depts. of other companies are complete idiots..

Ta2athorran beslogan elwa6ani I say: Yabeela Hummer, yabeela villa 3 floors ma3a masba7, yabeela floos, yabeela o yabeela o yabeela! What are they promoting!? I don’t like this slang they use because it doesn’t sound appropriate and it doesn’t represent the age / work group that get the account! Yabeela taghyeer!
