I was flipping channels waiting for Monk to air & I see another promo for a talent / singing competition; I wonder when would this stop?! Do we need another 3abdel 7aleem walla whoever else! Every TV channel now races against time to steal show ideas from outside walla come up with something totally lame to scam poor kids who don’t have a clue on what to do with their lives.

If you are an eager person you can always try to make your way through Super Star, if you don’t pass head to LBC’s Star Academy. You don’t get through the lines there run to MBC’s  “Akbar musabaqa moseqeeya”! Maybe then you would have a shot in displaying your talent! Ok, I am not targeting the young people who register or take their chances in something like that but I seriously think that achievements in life are diverse and they extend beyond singing, dancing or displaying your body on TV! They play with our minds making this seem like a gold mine waiting & associate that with success and certain social rankings but can someone pls tell me where are we going?! Do we need more reality TV o not any TV- stupid “goal free” TV?! I like shows like Survivor but then my opinion doesn’t really matter! I just wish some sense would get into people behind TV stations and stop shoving our minds with nonsense.
