I am one of those people who find it difficult to let things run naturally; I just have this urge to be very involved in minor details to a sickening point! Even to myself! Growing up, I don’t recall ever asking about my future, it just was an inevitable conclusion that I would get what I want, things will be ok, what ever job I get would be my dream job bas Reality bites you both sides! Besides our main role on Earth add to it the fact that we are leading preplanned lives, we can make a difference- this is when our free will kicks in- and we can mold circumstances to be for or against us.
I refuse to stand still- I can be a lover and a fighter at the same time, therefore this “que sera sera” notion is dissed from my mind and vocabulary! I ain’t a psychic and it is impossible to predict the future but one could set the basic lines of his / her life and with ethics, standards and faith ( in random order ), what is wished for and worked hard for can be granted “en sha2a allah”!

im a controll freak, and i do get involved in every single aspect of everything, and i rarely if ever give up, cz if theres a will theres a way, BUT i learned the hard way never to plan anything. i work hard and try for the best, but fate sometimes has a different plan.
so i learnt to be totally flexible, and god it made my life alot easier!

Oh yeah, that’s it! Talk bout bein a control mo freak ellaaa… o like you I got slapped on the face so many times bas for some weird reason I seem to wanna keep things together or I feel like am lost or somethin’ ainght right, you know… Sister! flexibility now ain’t a good option neither on the long run actually… once you do it once, people make it a habbit….
