Are Ipods fixable?!
I was in such a messed up condition last Tuesday, I wanted to jump from a moving car! Elmohem, I let Blue get a big mug of Turkish coffee to go while heading to our class. Of course, the mug stayed in the car afterwards then we had to drop by ICity to check Mac Pro n’ IMacs; The IPod was on and in my hand and when we parked and as I was going out of the car, I placed “pinky” in the cup holder – nothing wrong with that right! We go down, check the place, ask lots of question and leave to the car. She starts driving, I pick pinky and notice liquid!! Brown liquid, coffee smelling liquid! OMG! I placed it inside the mug with coffee in it!!!!!!!!!! I franticly tried drying it and its cover … it’s still working, but the screen as you can see in the picture, spotted now.
After all this, is this thing fixable?! Screen looks so baaad! It was a B-Day gift :(

oh you poor thing!!!
i had a similar situation but my screen was broken.. like there was a huge crack on the screen and the iPod wouldn’t work.
i took it to the mac store in marina and they fixed it and thankfully everything was still there. nothing was erased.. you have no idea how glad i was because of that :P

mine was a birthday gift too and its broken. Pretty much a similar thing happened to me. It is fixable but will probably cost you a little bit cheaper than buying a new one.. Do another shopa and go get a new ipod.

oKh! I always face problems like that with my mobiles but pinky is delicate you know… it’s so pretty n’ pink i just went crazy, bas if they can fix a broken screen, then my problem’s easy huh! :)

Hmm Shopa, the way i see it is the following:
1. shut up & keep it as long as it works
2. Go fix it and in that case:
2.a. Check how much it costs and accept and shut up & get it over with
2.b. totally shut up and throw it aside to be kept as a memory (make something artistic from it!)
Buying one is not an option - well, maybe later on - red one’s sooo coool!

my old ipod was dropped in a cup of water and didnt work at all after that, so they exchanged it…. ESHDE3WA were u talking about me :S i dont know. anyhoo i had numerous problems with my ipods and they always give me new ones. even witht he engraving so dont worry ;)
