Hip hip hooraaaaay! I am a woman!

witchy-woman.jpg

I lose track of time sitting here in my room. For some odd reason, my restless soul hovers over – above my body – My soul takes over:

I take a look at this girl, sitting on her couch with the laptop figuring out what to write on her blog. She just came out of shower, hair still wet & body smelling of Coco butter. TV’s on but seems like all her passion and time is dedicated to satisfying her curiosity on what’s happing on the blog sphere & I wonder: “Is this addiction!” – has she not a real life…. Seems like her only friends are nicknames of faces she keeps imagining & obsessing about. Strangers who she seeks for comforting words & advice. How can a blog be a substitute? Is it normal for one to be so good “online” with people yet in real be so harsh! Oh, here she comes, so will a new post.

Sitting down in my room, all alone in the house – sets my mind back to the good old days, when women used to have nothing or no where else to go. Times when women were care free from all of the responsibilities that modern age society shoves upon us and it’s hard people, yes it’s hard being a female now a days…. I love my femininity but I curse the fact that society has degraded & stooped down to such levels… Women, we say we got our freedom; well all we got is shit! Yes, mere crap to shut us up… nothing’s like what it’s supposed to be for us… this “freedom” is fake and one day you will understand it. Look around you, look at what we have become…. Look where this “freedom” lead us to.

Girls, say along: “HIP HIP HOORAAAAAAAAAAAY!” Ama woman! Men, HAIL for the Amazon women! I am perfect for God has created me a female!

Hooray for:

1. Using only my heart when it comes to my decisions
2. For being so sensitive and taking things personally
3. Being so vulnerable when it comes to my emotions and surroundings
4. “Butching up” while my femininity is erupting inside
5. Trying to be how the society wants me to be – not accepting me the way I am
6. Putting much emphasis on what people say & how they think
7. Trying to push to fit in a male dominated world
8. Keeping an “eye” out there for safety
9. Being ridiculed & undermined
10. Being objectified by men
11. Keeping track of my health & appearance
12. Obsessing and fantasizing about the “ONE”
13. Anxiety and fear of rejection
14. being ostracized for love of music and the “hip”
15. Considered a bad girl if I have male friends
16. Considered a bitch if were in relations
17. Considered a bitch if smoking (whether a fag or sheesha)
18. Considered weak if shed some tears
19. Made fun of if put some weight on
20. Looked at disgustingly if had physical flaws
21. Pushed away if not liked
22. Broken hearted if can’t be accepted
23. Fought for saying the truth
24. Given insignificant positions
25. shunned in the name of religion
26. Taken for granted if show interest in a guy
27. Am politically opressed
28. I am left if I don’t have children
29. I have to endure 9 months of pregnancy & labor pain

So WOHOOO! am so thankful for being a women….

Very interesting .. I enjoyed reading it and smiled after jumping from 1 sentence to another… Good for being proud of yourself.. Women are here for a reason, without them life isn’t complete and the same goes with men … Both genders co-exist in order to have a healthy appealing life…^_^

PS. Yes, sometimes blogging does become an addiction but a healthy one. I for one am grateful for some of the bloggers i have met and stay in touch through emails. They really helped me get through my troubled period in a way no non-virtual friend or family member could have.
