I agree with Vixen and Chroma. If his intentions were pure then this guy would be better off kneeling and proposing to you in front of the whole company

1. foul up initial perceptions of friendliness & may even bring about an urge to even more persistence – yes that’s true, it doesn’t do any good when a woman argues or responds, I agree

2. Whatever happened to simply being �decent� and respectful of everyone, men & women alike? – don’t you see how cheap everything turned into lately… in my previous post – I specifically said I hate how our society stooped down so low to such levels – from both genders that is too. We are all decent 7amdellah and I personally know how to act with different types of people & impose my respect :) – don’t worry – I ain’t a “hallooqa” person.

3. Do people have to resort to attracting attention in order to win others� interests? – DUH! that’s what am saying… desperate measurements which lead to dispute & anger hence, bad mouthing and the cycle goes on..

Shallowness yes, why do people do it- beats me! Would it stop, don’t think so! :)

An ‘in-yer-face’ attitude (possibly as a defense mechanism?) against persistent attention-seekers can always foul up initial perceptions of friendliness & may even bring about an urge to even more persistence.
But here’s a thought in your defense: Whatever happened to simply being “decent” and respectful of everyone, men & women alike? Do people have to resort to attracting attention in order to win others’ interests? If they do, the I suppose this level of shallowness depends on how much the recipient can tolerate it, not for me to say, really..

I like girls who take the initiative but with subtle advances of course. It shows they have character and they stand out amongst the flock.

If I like someone in an 3adi way, sometimes I’ll just tell them directly that I like them. However if it’s someone I really like, then I won’t do anything except jog and think about them.

There are millions of girls that can make you look their way (take jam3iyat Shamiya for example :P A quick stop for food for the guys back home turns into an oogle fest :( ) , but only one of them can make you look in their way long after they’re gone.
