Yesterday, Blue called to tell me that another friend of ours (Nujood) has those invitations to a fashion show, organized by Rasha Al 7afeth (makeup chick) & her designer husband Ziad Antoune at Movenpick beda3… I was really hesitant bas when I was told 7aleema is the host, I thought GREAT – post & pics – since’s she’s been post material for lots of us bloggers… I get ready, dress up, put excessive makeup and COLORED LENSES! Yes, me – chikapappi- against fakeness became a hypocrite for a day! It sux people to be someone that you’re not, get out of your skin to fit along a group of ignorant lost people…
We get there at 9:45; place packed with women (zalamat & TKs) as Blue noted & I agree….
What a waste of time, energy & money!! These people seriously do these events & women (yes us women) go there blindly just to check things out…. Half naked women, fake blondes, girls with hair as high as Eiffel tower!! I cannot get this life style! I mean do you have to seriously look like a “hoochie mama” to feel good about yourself!
WHY DO THEY BOTHER & DO THIS!!! OMG, the whole event is about the latest in makeup !!! OMG! Like this woman (Rasha) decides to be the makeup guru & teach you what to do with your face! 7aleema! This “Cinderella” of Kuwait! The icon of beauty & fashion in Kuwait! Huh!!! WHATEVER! Jealous! Am not jealous bas it doesn’t make sense AT ALL!
Shallow people who don’t have anything else to do in life but go watch 7aleema or the Lebanese beauty queens bullshit & stand their like “hangers” – it’s such a shame what these girls do using their looks – they are beautiful I gotta admit – but it’s just a shame…. What’s worse is that society idolizes these people, making them figures of what is “IN” – what we’re supposed to be & look like…
We couldn’t take it anymore, not after the fawazeer 7aleema song – she was standing there lip singing along ! I performed the Samurai suicide at the table! People might’ve noticed bas I don’t care….
