H&M Mayhem & more…
“There’s nothing better than shopping a girl can do” !! That’s my motto! Actually, shopping to me is like therapy; one gone bad of course since I cannot hold my hand reaching into my bag to get the wallet to buy whatever I fancy in some shop! It’s a disease we women suffer from am afraid…. Bas hey! It’s fun!
I got an sms this morning saying that H&M Salem Al Mubarak is opening & my sister told me the same right before If6ar, since I have this thing to attend on Thursday add the fact that I needed to buy something to wear for that, I went like what the heck! Lemme go check what they have for this season…
I had a lovely day! I actually went in the kitchen & cooked for the first time since… hmm, God knows when! Bas it was ok, no one was rushed to hospital afterwards! (am a good cook of course)! :)
Anyho got in the car, Fanar was the destination.. I didn’t find anything there that shouted “ME” so that was a sign from God! We went to H&M!
Bas while at Fanar, we saw people gathered downstairs; There was this show, quiz thing being taped… dude looked weird with the circus type suit… I dunno! Does anyone know what’s that all about!

It’s CRAZY! More like H&M mayhem!!! The place was packed & it’s only there first day! OMG! There are worse shoppers than me… between smelly people & others who just shove you in the ass to pass by; I managed to get what I want. The H&M team are very friendly & helpful – Blue said: “It’s only their first day, wait for the change” – yeah I know girl bas they were fine to me!
What really caught everyone’s attention is this gay dude – at first sight you’d think he’s a girl but then when I focused it turned out to be a guy! He looks fine though! I mean for a dude! EVERYONE & I am not exaggerating, was staring this guy, sorry girl.. Their heads turn as he walks by – poor thing I guess bas I still don’t understand WHY!!!!!!! Why do you have to do this to yourself! Destroy what God gave you!! Only thing I excuse for such case is having mixed up reproductive organs bas come to think of it – GOD doesn’t make mistakes like that! Well, it’s up to these people anyway… I don’t care!
Girls, did you get the chance to smell the new YSL perfume Elle… it sux! The TVC is nice bas it sux! The price is RIDICULOUS! 50 Ml KD 26!!! Leish! I could buy two different perfumes for the same price… I ended up getting the Paco XS, it’s sassy like me :) I highly advise you get it.
Another interesting thing I’ve noticed, the guys sitting outside those restaurants & cafes next to Johnny rockets, don’t these people have lives!!! Going to & coming back to the car, we heard “7ayaty” like hmm, 6 times! Creeps! I just went to get me a foot long sub… what a delight!

- Mona, yeah it’s not that nice wala fancy (mesh high-end fashion) bas I like the bags o some of the tops, like those plain cotton ones o they are cheap too here…

I’m with Mona, I don’t like H&M, I never really developed a taste for european fashion with the exception of burberry, I don’t like benettion and I’m not crazy about zara or mango, I like american styles more (no offense). Ba3dain I have to warn you about their quality, one time I bought this qamees from there and when I washed it, it shrunk! it didn’t just shrink like how cotton sometimes shrink, it shrunk maybe 3 entire sizes!!!! It turned into a kid’s shirt!

I dont Like H&M but i must admit the do have cute cotton tops…they could work on not filling the racks with so many things you cant even pull out what you want to look at, half the clothes need ironing and they just look unappealing

To me therapy is buying loads of plain t-shirts and tank tops :}don’t forget to WASH clothes after buying them, especially from places like Topshop and H&M :P

I am not a fan of H&M either, been there a few times, complete waste of time.
As for Pleo, the dino, yeah they are on sale but depending where you are, in ME they will arrive early 2008 i guess but in UK and US it is out. they sell it online by the way it is about 400$ more or less.
i met the guy who’s bringing them to the ME and i met Pleo!! he is sooo cute.
