6 bloggerettes & the chocolate dilemma…
Believe it or not, but I stayed till 6:30 yesterday trying on outfits getting ready for the blogerretes meeting! I dunno my OCD takes over sometimes – I mean, everything has to be ready in advance.
I woke up late as usual (around 3) – cleaned around the house, got my things ready – gifts for the bloggers who won the quiz. Had fo6oor, showered & got dressed then picked up Blue Dress & Fayoora…
We were distorted in thoughts between Gcafe or Chocolate bar bs Yara made it easy for me – especially with the do3a “allahoma sagger fakhdy” that I suggested! LOL! No escape from destiny – fatness- I guess!
I was not worried at all – I know I can mix with any crowd & mingle easily, so we sat up there waiting for the “crowd”. Yara brought Hammoudi along, mashaaallaaah! Cutie pie! With his “stare” – boy didn’t like me at all :P or YET, he was pissed off from geezy guy who was smoking cigars next to us! Dimwit!
Vixen & Rahash were first timers & boy Vixen was terrified :P bas after breaking ice things were cool… we spoke about everything & it is interesting to get to know people in real life – aside from blogging… dontcha love networking! All was nice & sweet – I laughed alot but again, am crazy! Love you girls :*
So Oliver (the waiter) comes to take orders – it was my FIRST TIME to eat at Chocolate Bar – although am the Mcdaddy of food as I call myself bad I’ve always feared going into a place that serves chocolate in all forms!
Am holding the menu & I go like:
Me: So, what’s the lightest thing you people have!?
Oliver: Mam, we serve chocolate here!
Me: Yeah I know bas still am on a diet!
Oliver: it won’t hurt for one day!
Me: Yeah… I guess I can start dieting tomorrow!
YEAH RIGHT! I say that all the time !! BIJ! Talk about will power! I’m fine like this! & whom ever wants me – should accept me with my flaws – I mean excess meat!
I ended up having the Cookie thing ice cream- God, I don’t remember the name of that thing bas it was GOOD! I was sitting there thinking “I gotta have me something else”! Will power kicks in after all!
I really had fun YET a couple of the girls couldn’t make it & you missed it girls – I also forgot to get the presents for the girls – am so absent minded especially when am in a hurry.. I also forgot to take pictures with the camera I bought yesterday for those special “events” urghh..
Let’s seeee…. Who’s next!? :D
[ Update ] I forgot to add that the Dell laptop went nuts today! It just went koko! Thank God I decided to buy one earlier – Toshiba’s much much better! *effeeew*
P.S: For those of you who were annoyed with the “Je ne veux pas travailler” song – here! changed! HAPPY!?

Technically your meeting is not the “official” female blogger meeting. There is an underground, or maybe used to be, group of female bloggers who used to meet on regular basis, but we have not heard of their existence for some time.
Isn’t it odd that since I started commenting here you have gained weight? ;p

I hope to goodness that someone had the gooey melted chocolate truffle cake. It is the best thing since sliced bread and with a little dollop of vanilla ice cream is enough to make your toes curl with pleasure!!!
