Fact or Fiction!?
Fact says that most internet users – may I associate bloggers – are geeks who have no social lives & are cyber active.. I’d rather keep my personal opinion aside, since we girls discussed that yesterday :P
Bloggers, are you geeks hiding behind your screens pretending to be the cool guys, girls who you really aren’t!?
I say, to every rule there are exceptions! I met a whole lotta them :)

LoooooL you can tell an MIS student in the business school, we all look likes and we are the only ones who own a computer lab in that building

lol, I’m not a geek but I get stuck in certain circumstances where I have to accompany a relative of mine during sickness or in a situation where I have no where to go, no car, no friends, secluded, nothing other than to sit at home and blog, but as soon as I get back to my normal circumstances enshallah I don’t think I would be spending this much time online at all. Nice topic lol

You could find a geek in every profession, You could tell my by spending some time with that person. A freind of mine who I love very much, is such a geek… Whenever I phone her, see her, she would talk about her patients what she had done to them and what is she planning to do?.. I have no problem with listening to people, El-himidi-Allah , I’m a good listener,, but I have a life and I don’t want to talk about dentistry all the time.

Humm, Geek? Yes! Nerd? Ham yes :P Pretend to be cool? No, don’t have the time for it? 3gady is my style :P Staying up all night troubleshooting a computer glitch, writing a program, fixing the boost controller, and having oil drip on my head? Priceless :)

i just realised that im schizophrenic, i can be a total geek i person whose reasoning and decision making is always first and foremost based on his/her passions rather than things like financial reward or social acceptance and i go crazy whenever some new gadget is launched, yet i love my social life and can’t live without my friends!

What’s the definition of geek? No social life and cyber active? That doesn’t make sense for a lot of bloggers, especially ones who mention how they were talking to their friends about things or how they went out and saw a certain mall or ate at a certain restaurant or even those bloggers (e7im e7im) who write stories that could only be inspired by living real life rather than living in cyber world all the time :D

Guess what!
Most bloggers aren’t even that technical. You can’t call them geeks when they don’t even know how to install an application, or boot in safe mode. or even get into the bios and do “stuff”
Naah, 99% of the Internet users nowadays are regular mom’s and pops.. That saying that you up there would have been true 14 years ago. But now, it’s completely the opposite!

By the way, Geek is no longer considered a derogatory term:
More recently, Geeks were associated with people who are “nerds” but “get the job done. (We see them in the movies now, the thin dude with glasses who was last scene in proximity of women when the nurse delivered him from his mother. But who happens to be a computer whiz and saves the day at the end)

GEEKS ARE NOT NECESSARILY NERDS! nerds are smart and they do have a life! while geeks.. eemmm how shall i put it in a sof way.. geeks r Steve Urkle and his faithful followers.. with over sized glasses.. ortho head gead, suspenders..
