BLOGGING CODE OF ETHICS!
After the disgraceful hateful comments I received today, which of course many of you get along your blogging I was thinking that there should be some sorta conduct code, basic rules if I could call them on how to blog.
It basically rotates around RESPECT. Yes, respect to fellow bloggers in the first place, then yourself (One would say, you gotta respect yourself first to respect others) WRONG! Thing is, when you get stepped on more than once & stay quiet about it, you are surely bound to literally explode & that’s when people start giving you crap, neglecting the most important factor in the whole process: BEING HUMAN. Each one of us is entitled to his / her own space… you can do whatever you want with it, no limits! You wanna write about sex, go ahead – about food, go ahead – about work, go ahead – you wanna show us things you make, GO AHEAD! No one is stopping you from being YOU. That’s why most of you out there are anonymous & would rather stay like that and this is something totally understandable.
I have had people stick with me while I was feeling bad & others who complimented the good things I do; nevertheless, the basic point of blogging to me, is keeping my memoirs, stupid, silly, bad, good, funny, angry… These are my feelings translated into posts. I know I can sometimes be rude & vulgar bas I really do make sure that I do NOT hurt Safat blogggers or even those who are outside Kuwait. It’s not that I am scared from their reaction bas this is me.. I am a social bug, I love hanging around people, listening to their stories, reading about their lives, get to assist if I can or comfort when needed…
Some of you find me weird!? Even said it in comment, well yes I am! That’s what makes Chikapappi. This is my essence! I try to keep the blog truthfull by exposing you to the inner thoughts & feelings of good ol’me. I try to make you share what I find nice… Give you tips on things I see appropriate in life. You can take what I say & implement it OR you can completely let it run out of your brain – your other ear! I am not doing this to get love or attention, God knows I have enough bad attention in life bas seems even the internet is a tough nut shell to crack!
I sit down & wonder (after getting bad comments), WHY!?? Do you know me in person? Why do you think it’s ok for you to come & say such things to a person that you don’t know?! Guess what?! To me, you are taking my bad deeds & giving me 7asant in return :) WOHO!! Does that make me feel ok? Not really, I am a sensitive person & forgetting negativity takes a while to be processed.
This is what I truly think we should abide to while we blog around the globe, meeting people online:
1. RESPECT! Appreciate differences when it comes to nationalities, social status, economic level, style of writing, way of thinking, language used.. basically respect the person for what she – he is not for what they own or do
2. DO NOT BE JUDGEMENTAL! Or ASS U ME that you can drop in & leave a comment that reflects how Black your heart is or how sick you are: If you have something “good” to share with the rest pls do or refrain from opening that “hole” of yours!
3. Do not try or attempt to reform a person, people are mature enough to figure out what to do with their lives & how they move along it & remember, start with yourself!
4. Be HONEST: It never hurts to introduce the real YOU. If you carry shameful secrets that you know will fire back at you, keep those to yourself then OR you can brush off the surface if you feel sharing will solve your mental issues.
5. Remember! You can use your blog to cuss, curse, rant, live, love, cook, share & send awreness BAS on other peoples’ blogs; keep things clean.. your image is being formulated across the internet, let be a good one!
6. Give a neutral opinion should you have one. Do not take sides because of your personal preferences. I don’t understand why people gang up against each other! It’s like being among hyenas! Since when did blogging become a stressful thing!!
7. Give each other the chance to explain yourselves to each other. Be mature about criticism (CONSTRUCTIVE) that is.
8. Do not think that you are entitled to invade someone’s privacy & seclusion
9. Do not attempt to be a SMARTASS – thinking that you are funny or have this wacky sense of humor!
10. Finally, If you don’t like what you see or read, just leave the blog & never revisit EVER!
Is that good enough for you!? Can I make it more clear!!! Did I miss out anything!? Having said that..
1. I do not expect every single one of you to like me – bas we are not in a freggin popularity contest so GROW UP!
2. I choose what I write at certain times because it gives me a good feeling so I do not care what you think!
3. Yes I have a Pink template so am extra girly & kinda kiddish bas I like it
4. I shop a lot & eat a lot so yes I spoil myself & this is non of your business!
5. I am extra sensitive & also no need for you to verify this fact by leaving me a crappy comment.
6. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THIS BLOG- DO NOT CLICK MY LINK! :) o if you got itchy hands & left a dimwitty comment like you, it will be spammed what are you gonna do about it!! NOTHING! I <3 moderation!

Chika.. there are alot of people out there who will hate you for any reason and even go around the God forbidden word, “blogsphere” and write hateful comments about you thinking you would give a shit. Can’t stop them. They will do anything to satisfy their urge of making fun of you and they think by posting a hateful comment or making a stupid site against you will change who you are, then eeeeeeh.. they are wrong and stupid and have no life..
I saw the hateful comments and good thing you removed them. You got moderation, use it. That’s why it is there for. I am thinking on my blog to enable a login system for comments, but I like to be social and open up commenting to everyone.

But Chika, I also believe in freedom to express however you want. For example, I LOVE 7akifadi.com and Mala2e6. I don’t even need them to be real people to love their writing style.
Just like you here, I love everything you write (almost) but this doesn’t mean I need to know you in person or that everything you write has to be the ultimate truth!
I’m just glad that I can come to your blog and if I don’t like what you’re saying, I’ll just enjoy the girlie colors … which remind me of my niece’s room for some reason!
I guess the bottom line is that the rule is … There is no rule. You define how you interact.. If you would like to be a smartass on my blog.. Feel free to do so, if you would like to assume things about me,, go right ahead … but let me know .. that would help… of course

Nice try with ethics code, but blog-sphere or not, you are exposed to obnoxious people all the time, they come from this world and the fact that they are using blogs doesn’t make them any nicer.
A screwed up blogger isn’t gonna abide by the rules not even give them a second look. Just levitate from such nonsense, you are great as you are and don’t let such crappy people force you into descending to their sinking levels.

That is really sad to hear and I’ve read the comments in your previous post by that so called ‘Jerk’. I felt like that was the best thing to do(even though you moderate your comments) to allow his comment and reply back to it.
Well, these kind of nuisance tend to happen, but the funny thing is they are still not able to get their point across! Probably for their own satisfaction, but it makes no use :)
