Scam!?
I found this next to the elevator in our building…
Now; I know people go through tough conditions (7amdella for what I have) but this is absurd! If you go through the hassle of printing those stickers for yourself, that’s stupid cuz you are wasting money.
If you are someone doing it for someone you know, that’s also stupid!! You are practically better off giving the money to the person instead of wasting it on printing stickers!!!
I leave the numbers there, just in case someone out there has the urge to help..

“ Big family going through harsh conditions seeking help of philanthropists”
Besides the doa’as & the account & cell numbers ..

Well, at least it beats getting ambushed by walk-in’s while you’re at your office, begging for assistance! I had to employ a security company to screen everyone walking into my office!!!

I agree with you, I always had this though, once there was a lady wondering around my work place asking for help, while she is wearing Prada handbag and Dior sunglasses. with full make-up.

bes its kinda sketchy. ya3ni i put money in their accounts without ever meeting them? what if they were terrorists? or criminals?

Good i dont read arabic ! But in my area lot of Paki’s and Hind’s come begging with some bogus certificate …. I was once stopped by a guy who had a huge wound in his arm , at a closer look , looked like mayonise mixed with Ketchup ! ….

Heheheheee!!! There’s this dude in Hawalli who stopped me & Blue, started reading poems!! In Arabic !! He was Hindi!!! He asked my name & started reciting this poem with my name.. LOL!! Poor thing :/

Sorry to sound harsh, but I’m never going to trust those “Calls for help” unless I see a dying person in front of me. Most of these are scams.. el7emdellah, o el du3a is good enough if they deserve it.

I understand what you mean, but what they do as I see is rude but not stupid. Printing papers dones’t cost anything compared to what they could make here.
What really pissed me off was a sign (somehow I didn’t snap it!) on entrance to Salwa Rd:
“???? ??? ??????? ???? ?????:
??? ??? ????? ??????? ???? ??? ?? ???? ?????? ?? ???? ?? ?????…”
Translation:
“Call for Awazem family and the goog deed people,
I am a guy drawning with loans and have nothing of the life dirt to cover my expenses…”
It was a big clear sign at entrance. I was like WHAT? First, he tries to stimulate his family members by separating them in the call. Second, he had and enjoyed all the luxuries until he was drawn in debts, then he starts calling life luxuries dirt and wreck! Well I hope you shared some of this wreck and dirt with others before you drawn. Now I hope you die with your loans.
