It’s not intirely bad. Some of those women would be far better off in the U.S than in their native countries. And, they can divorse their husbands once they get here and live a new, better life.

I’m afraid many of these girls don’t really HAVE a choice.
Their family makes the decision for them.
I can tell you a lot of sick stories from Korea.
Girls there working in Bars and some of them “lucky” enough to get married.
Some years back it was only Russian girls working there, same background as the Filipino girls that are working there now.
Other story, a over 60 year old (then) colleague of my husband getting married to a barely 18 year old Filipino girl.
1 year later she was pregnant….you think THAT was her choice?
No, I’m afraid that these girls gotta do what their parents tell them.
A few years back in Germany there was a boom with Russian girls, later on it was girls from the Philippines. Don’t ask me, but I’ve seen a few of those men. I don’t want to be in the girls shoes.

Seriously, I dont get this order thing, I mean how are the women able to trust that they’re going to end up in good homes? A guy can tell her every lovely thing there is, but as soon as she arrives at his place… reality check!!!
