Re Cyberstalking…
Enough discussing intricate “offline” relations and lets go deeper; Online affairs / relations – not necessarily romantic ones but those that just go bad.
They always used to say (I did too) that those active online are losers in real life; people so desperate for attention and interaction that they can’t get in real life so they hide behind the screen and improvise personalities as they move along.. some scary shit eh!
R. wrote a detailed [ post ] on that & from his own point of view, which I really liked. There is nothing more important for a person in this life than one’s own private space and sense of security – I firmly think people who do stalking or annoy / bully people lack that in their persona hence, they go around blaming everyone else for their fuckups! That really pisses me off! So many people (girls & boys) went through that crap at some point of their lives, some of which stood there helpless & waiting for some sorta exit & relief…
What gives the right to a person to think that it’s ok to manipulate people like that?! what gives them the right to underestimate peoples’ emotions and create fear in their lives?! What makes it ok for these people to think that they got “five on” those who they threat and scare!?
Since when has DECENCY become such a rare quality!? Is it ok for someone to go through personal details than exploit that to their benefit!? You know what!? Respect is given not demanded… so you gotta play it right if you want others to think good of you. It’s all about manners.. it’s never about bullshit that you talk about all the time, deeds speak louder than actions, that’s a well known recognized fact. So the mask will be off one day and no matter what you do, people won’t change their perception on you.
Let’s get back to the online part of stalking, blogging or chatting ( this is from a female’s point of view ), does it make a girl cheap?! Does it make her easy? Does it necessarily a Green light for people to invade her world and assume shit about her!? Ok, blogging is all about getting down to it & being personal – I agree with you R. on not sharing those intimate private details with strangers no matter how tight people get online and I have passed this to many girls I’ve met in real life but at the end it’s their choice, it’s non of our business to tell them people what to do but I firmly believe that one day they will learn the lesson (hopefully not the hard way)…
Some will say: “that’s why we prefer staying anonymous!” ok! Valid answer BUT one day someone’s bound to figure out who you are like what happened to me when Blue Dress heard me saying my nickname at work! LOL – ok, I was stupid!
Well, it doesn’t really matter to me – I know some people hate me in real life & I say FUCK YOU! And not too many fancy me online so FUCK YOU TOO!
1. Just be careful who you “befriend”
2. Keep things decent n’ clean
3. Make it clear what you want from them (friends or more)
4. DO NOT SHARE PERSONAL INFO! Not more than required!
5. Be yourself and never fake things
This is all I have to say, if a person chooses to stick to you, be as clear as you can and believe me, you will lose some people during this process, but it’s only the good ones who understand & respect you are the ones worth having around ;)
Life is full of crazy people! Let’s start hunting them down! :@

I can’t grasp the idea of stalking an anonymous nick name who might be anyone among thousands of people.
It’s one thing to like a character and another to go the extremes to stalk them. I mean for whatever reason that might be to hunt someone down. I have one thing to say, just open your eyes around and look for those things that attracted you to such persona.
If anyone dedicated the efforts to really listen to people in look into their minds then they’ll end up befriending those real people and not a screen name which is bound to vanish after some time.
