Egyptian Museum
It was the first place we went to in Cairo; I was dying to see my mother’s ancestors LOL! We were not allowed to take pictures inside, which turned out to be for the better of course since it’s so messy and it’s a waste of good space! They should hand it over to me to organize the exhibits!!!
I really loved the garden outside and it was packed with poor tourists who were ripped off with the 50 Egyptian Pounds ticket while ours cost 2 Pounds LOOOOOOOOL! Which made me shout: “They are ripping you off” to those people bas they were busy gathering their groups & taking pictures :D

Well, yes it is cool BUT one piece of advice dude: TAKE SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THE CITY – preferably a local otherwise, you will be screwed, excuse my French! A cab driver dropped us at a street called Mohammed Ali when we asked to go to Khan El Khaleely bazaar!

That’s one thing about egypt, they’re good at ripping you off! They wanted to charge me 200 pounds for a camel ride, fortunately i had a local with me and he got it down to 20 pounds! Where was the last picture taken?

I miss Cairo!
Malorganization aside, I love that museum.. Don’t know if they still keep the jewelery on the first and the second right wings, but that was my favorite spot. That, and the mummies of course.
A better organized and more modern museum is the one in Luxor.. Less items but definitely worth visiting.
I miss Cairo.
Lucky you, Chikapappi.
