Which one!!?
Money over sanity?!
OR
Healthy state of mind over money?!
Why can’t one have both!? We all need to work I know but I wish I could have something that makes me happy / relaxed and at the same time get a decent amount at the end of the month!!
Most of the employees here, including others from outside this company wait for the 27th of each month (our pay day) impatiently for the salary *looks at the calendar* :/
UPDATE! To make things worse, Facebook is down :(

I say at first a person should go for a job that gives him financial stability, then move on to a job that is more comfortable and gains him a healthy state of mind.

Anyway for me it’s money over sanity … I hate my colleagues to death not because i am a dickhead but because they are always plotting my downfall… but i have a good job pays me by the first week ( which is a rarity in my field) and has the best benefits … i thought of quitting twice , resgined as well , but the company raised the moola and asked me to stay … so yes! i chose money over sanity … i don’t know about you … but it works for me.

Grey I suffer from dimwits at work too and I quit like 20 times and I fought like hell to get what I deserve but I am still feeling BAD.. like it’s killing my soul! making me depressed, angry, bored :@ angry!

In Kuwait everyone works for money!!! Is there a working environment here where people can relax and feel like they are working!! I have worked in France, UK and NY believe me they make you feel so good…the problem here is they promise and don’t deliver which puts our morals down and everyone is there to back stab!! I am out of that employment shit and I am glad I took that step..

I think that what Badrah said is the smart way to look at it…but my main concern is: what happens when u lose your mind by the time you get to that comfortable job? Money will you no good then!!!

I don’t work and I don’t know the pressure of work but money does\t really bring happiness although many do.. for me, it’s not at all.. I don’t have the feeling that I want more, I am ok with the amount of money that allows me to live a normal life..
bas I can’t talk from a workers’ point of view because i know it sucks if you are not appreciated for your efforts..

I agree with amu, it’s being comfortable and satisfied with the treatment and appreciation.. true this is not found in Kuwait.. I also like it in the west that they treat EVERYONE the same, they don’t look at nationalities and stuff.. just you and what you are doing..

No matter how much I hate my job that pays sh**.. i still say el7amdillah that 1. I have a job.. 2. I don’t have the tea boys job. 3. I don’t have the farash’s job 4. I have a job that is waaaaaaaay better than a lot of people.. so even though it doesn’t pay THAT good.. it pays a lot more than a lot of other people and that keeps me SANE!!

You always look at the negative things about work and you sit all day thinking about how much you hate it! You should be seriously looking for another job, you could be looking for a new job for a few months or a year or even 2 years, it’s still better than spending the rest of your life in this sh*tdump.
