Johnny Rockets Kuwait.. WHY!!
Y’all know am a sucker for a good burger! It’s no secret my addiction to everything that’s on Rocket’s menu but my big mouth and “confidence” were gone with the wind as a friend of mine slammed this bill in my face…
Argument was about the following:
LEMON WEDGES in soft drinks! He insisted that they charge for that, I disagreed because I simply do not check the bill and just pay n’ leave the joint but this is weird! They charge 150 Fils per wedge! WTF!!! I mean a whole bag of lemon would actually cost around 300 Fils yet here we are, over priced burgers / meals and we still have to pay for that zist in the drink! Come onnnnnn!!! o ya reit it’s that good even! I mean sometimes the food is crappy, service is so n’ so not to mention the cleanliness of the place (all branches).
I address those fast food chains to consider the way they milk money out of us.. Starbucks’ flavored shots and the cream n’ caramel on top … the lemon wedges…
Will they charge us for tissues next!??!

In Europe fast food chains charge you for ketchup and you have to physically go to the counter if you need tissues, but these places can be excused since they’re really cheap but not Johnny.

It has to be accounted for somewhere, if they didn’t do it separate they would add into the cost of any drink. Then if you order it with lemon or not you’d be paying for it.
It’s the same as paying a little extra for a slice of cheese for your cheeseburger.

Well, you do have a point there but it still doesn’t make a sense since it’s not mentioned as an extra charge on the menu at least nor do they say it! The consumer should be aware of that.. I mean, I never thought of it before and come to think if it.. 800 Fils for coke it TOO MUCH! @@

Walk into any fast food chain here & ask simply for a cup of water, they’ll pour it to you from the filtered tap and add ice…for free.
Go to any fast food chain in the States, they’ll charge you a dime for it.

For a second here I was amused, I thought 300 fils for two lemon drinks. But for the Lemon wedges? When did that ever happen. I really can’t tolerate those acts. It’s not about the 300 fils, it’s about the concept. You are charging me 800 fils for a drink that only costs 100 fils, and then you think a lemon wedge is not cheap enough to go with it. Maybe you should’ve brought one with you from home it’s cheaper.
I once saw when this started in McDonalds. They usually give free mayonnaise, which makes sense. But this time he said we have special offer, 2 packs for 5 fils! I only had to say it was FREE, what kind of an offer is that?
