Don’t make an ass out of you & me !

Here you go Salah, a post like you asked :) I know I’ve been neglecting this blog but I am seriously not being inspried or moved to write about anything.. It’s quite boring actually here for me.. anyways..

I’d start by talking about those first coupla days of Ramadan, I can’t believe 4 days already mashallah it’s moving along rather fast. I’ve been suffering from coffee hangovers, hence the bad headaches and sleeping like a pig most of the time, when I get the chance that is! Other than that, it’s pretty much laid back and as most of you out there, I’d also agree on the low quality boringly plotted TV shows EXCEPT Bab el 7ara (God bless the shanabat) lol ! Now I want a Syrian man! :$ <– believe me, this will change in a while !

Elmohem, I really dig the fact that I could go to office looking like a bum, sweatpants o any top! man it’s so comfortable especially when it’s so god darn bloody humid out there! OMG! Seriously! it’s suffocating! I have a tradition now, I go to work wearing this Pakistani like outfit and I love love love it! I don’t think I’d ever stop - you know when you have this item that you stick to! well.. this is how I feel about it

Now, let’s move on to something more serious.. Title of the post:

Assumptions and radical spontaneous actions… I have been in both situations where I have practised the “making an ass out of myself” as well as others doing the same. I could not but help ponder upon this issue since I am sometimes called “opinionated” or “narrow minded” which is totally fine by me because I don’t really mind it since I tend to believe that I am unique with my thoughts and personality no matter how kinky I get sometimes still, I am satisfied with what I have now which is bringing peace to me which I rarely experience.  And if you know me in person, you’d probably go like hallelujah!

I know it’s humans’ nature to interpret things / words the way they want and sometimes some of us would take action immediately without evening thinking them through and eventually leading to catastrophic results and it really depends on your relation with those individuals, if they respect you they’d take it and understand if not then what to do! I mean you can’t really impost it on them right! I am blessed being surrounded by good people who really like being around (at least that’s what i tend to think) but then I wonder when I open up my  mouth and a word slips out, why do people assume negativity and jump into conclusions  on the spot! It doesn’t make sense you know… What I love about my whole life so far is that I’ve been through tough situations where I’ve assumed and was proven wrong, other many times I’ve been totally naive and this really affected me deeply and I am a person that heals slowly..

Do you think it’s healthy to over think things and build certain thoughts to discuss and inquire about? Or would you simply take things the way they are and wait for them to unravel?! I dunno.. I may be impatient!

I am a victim of being naive or taking things for granted or for face value at times. Conversely I also happen to overthink a lot of things and blow things out of proportions LOL!

I am yet to master what things to overlook and what to ovethink about!

Hey, you just made me feel better about myself for letting me know that I’m not the only person who “Assumes” and “predict people.” We all do it girl, and I guess one just have to deal with it some way or another. And I totally understand you about “healing slowly.”

well .. assumptions are like 2 edges knifes .. they are never safe .. i used to make assumptions based on, an on spot situations, thats totally wrong specially when it comes for relations ships .. and specially for the ladies .. some times ladies think in a very logical way, and some times they dont, im not saying thinking in emotional way is wrong, its not, it hard for men to digest a 100% emotional idea, i learned how from my girl friend :D, so many fights so many downs so little ups .. it was as simple as, she looks at the subject from a different prospective .. what makes us human and great creatures by Allah .. is that each and every one of us is unique in his/her thoughts, ideas, rationality, irrationality yet so many other things ..

bottom line .. pre assumptions or even assumptions will make an ass of you no matter what .. unless you are deal in the stock exchange market that’s completely the opposite :D
