After I came back from the hospital earlier today, I sat down thinking how frail and weak our bodies are yet we take so much pride in how we look and flaunt ourselves forgetting that in a single moment of time everything could fall apart..
I wanted to write about this when I was going through it but I flagged the issue but then suddenly yesterday my younger sister was rushed to the hospital by an ambulance with suspicions of having the appendicitis. Mubarak hospital people of course 3ady, send her back home with pain killers which didn’t last for long so again at around 11 the family goes to Dar Al Shifa for round 2!! Man she was in bad shape! It was bad styanding there not knowing what to do hence she was adimitted for surgerey today morning after having the sonar done n’ all..
I left, slept n’ woke up a while ago and my other sister, who slept over with her told me what was going on with her and I couldn’t believe what I heard!!

In my case, when they found out I have one 3 cms of size although I got severe pain in my side I was told that if it grew bigger it would be dangerous and I might need surgery so I was advised to wait for the monthly you know what to resolve the whole issue.. so far, all is ok
Now, what shocked me about my sister is that they discovered the same thing BUT the cyst has exploded and there was internal bleeding pushing against her organs hence the pain..
I sincerely admire the human machine.. sub7an allah! Girlies, if you get the chance to go to the hospital and have a checkup don’t hesitate.. it’s not that dangerous anyways in most cases but do some researching for it may be helpful and en sha2 allah, none of you go through that

I agree with you.. we do neglect ourselves.. We are very fragile yet take ourselves for granted.. I admit that I don’t bother about going to check if there’s something, thinking the doctor might think I am silly or something..
When you see men getting a mere flu or virus, the whole house is like “oh he’s sick maskeen” but when it’s a woman, it’s not the same.. maybe because we don’t really complain…

Alf salama 3alikom, we Allah ye2awi el mama, she must be really worried. It is true that women’s bodies were created differently, I once read that a man’s back would break if he had to carry the weight we do when we are pregnant. I would also recommend reading on breast cancer and how to self-examine.

i was diagnosed with the same thing around 2 yrs ago, still treating this issue with pills .. Hopefully it will end soon.. 2ALF la baaas 3alaiha..

I have always sufferred from cysts in ovaries on both sides. It even effects my conception. But, I have never had pains.The worst I have is pinching (Alhamdulillah). Wht u tell me scares me. Esp. becoz I have not been very serious when the docs have told me to take care.

Its well with her soul by the Grace of the almighty lord.She’ll walk out of the hospital soon as u least expect just trust in God/Allah and pray always for her.
