Our 3edeya …
I can honestly and very happily tell y’all that today was “3eed like” for me… First two days were a bore! I do not want to complain about being a grown up and not having as much fun getting dressed to visit family members and receiving money; Let me instead tell you this story..
A couple of girls with a great idea and even greater hearts… This has been cooking for a while and the outcome is amazing for such a small group, 6 girls with a goal.. We woke up early, 6:30 myself and I picked up my friends to meet the rest of the group then we head to the hospitals area in Shuweikh.
The main idea of this trip was to give away gifts for kids - patients as a 3eedeya since most of them are stuck in hospitals while the rest of the country is celebrating. So, we tried to gather as much donations / gifts and some people helped besides what we chipped in ourselves and we bought school supplies and toys for children ages 3 months to 12 years and some were packed individually as in the pictures below while the rest were passed on separately.
Now, those were not the only bags; the other car was filled as well!! Am telling you, we visited 4 hospitals!! Thank god there was not that many patients 7amdellah but the smile and the look on some of these children was beyond description.. It got too emotional as well :) P.S: need waterproof mascara!!
I am feeling so humbled right now, thankful for what we have… I wish none of you out there go through what those patients are going through.. and I pray for those who passed away, may they rest in peace enshallah..
This will be organized again on a bigger scale sometime around next eid.. More information and updates coming out soon..
Thank you Powder, Moria “okht elfith” , Mama Fatami “Om Faten”, Dalool “J” ;p and Saroon “Ms. Bollywood”

Talisman dear . . . it seems that u’re jealous of our good deed & of what we’ve done!!!! the reason is because everybody are praising us & u seem that u wanted that praising for u, unfortunatly it went to Bana & her GANG (us) . . . Nota that we’re not showing off: 1- we didn’t mention the amount of money we spent. 2- we didn’t show all of the gifts. 3- we didn’t take photos of the lil patients & show how they were smiling & happy. 4- we didn’t mention the effort we put in organizing this event.
so why don’t u behave like a man & act likea decent gentlman & accept that fact that we’ve done smth deserved the praisings of others . . . P.S. we don’t need urs if u’re thinking of one right now :P

nice going… didn’t know it was for a good deed, Talisman, give them credit, and if you want to properly criticize then send a private message to the blogger cz even if u were right, doing that in public will just not do… and u saw the results! :P
