Blogs Stalking

With regards to the above picture, really?! Do I as a blogger – anonymous person online to the majority seek or let’s say, deserve the attention – not just any attention – the negative one?  God knows how the bunch of us – the bloggers – bloggerettes and myself included love this world and I have enjoyed every single minute I’ve spent behind this monitor, every effort behind each post and picture I uploaded yet for some weird reason some people – outsiders- really like to invade space and waste time blog hopping and I wish it was like some of those silent readers *waves to them* who leave comments on certain topics or send emails to ask about me or something they need no, I am referring to those who enjoy this “cat n’ mouse” game. I like it too! We might as well enjoy together!

After almost 3 years of blogging I have learned a lot.. It’s a totally different life, you meet people, you know about things, you’re more enlightened. You get the chance to express yourself and grow up, expand your language.. Find out about cultures.. people.. food! Technology.. you name it! What’s there not to like about it!? How could one quit this addiction! How could you discard those decent people you’ve got the opportunity to meet in person?! I find it impossible now.. Guys, I love you! Every outing, gathering, party, dinner, lunch, TM, email! Everything – Guys and girls, in Kuwait or abroad.

A – As a blogger, with your experience whether it has been going on for years or even if you’re a “freshman”; How would you describe it? If you want to encourage people to start a blog, what would you say?

B – During your experience, what bugged you most about the blogsphere you belong to? Or let’s say about other fellow bloggers?

C – As a blogger, do you take this – blogging – too seriously, in a way that it effects your life or your days?

D – How do you deal with cyber stalkers, if you have any- Do you ignore? Do you reply? Do you rant every time? Or do you simply think that they aren’t worth your time?

E – Besides what I mentioned above, state benefits earned from blogging, whether on a personal or financial / professional level.

F – How long will your blogging hobby last? I see people quitting when they get married, have kids.. Do you see yourself doing the same for a much bigger cause?

G – In your opinion, is blogging a “force to be reckoned with”?! I mean, it’s marketing, it’s a networking method what else?

H – As a blogger, do you secretly follow other bloggers in an attempt to find out who they are? I myself was fascinated to find Grey Fort at some point lol! ;p and many more. I met quite a few actually, NORMAL almost ;p – not your stereotype nerdy people as some would assume! Hell, they are interesting people! <– not all though! Yes I am honest about it.. I will meet more en sha2 allah :)

All of these are things that I like asking bloggers – blogerettes just to know how they feel about it.. I am trying to figure out how we can protect ourselves from the above mentioned outsiders that would stand at nothing to expose – stalk – seek us. Ok, I am not entitled to talk about this since I am very opened about it and my identity; I am not doing anything wrong and when I cross my lines, I know common courtesy and apologize when needed but generally some just take this to a whole different level when they over do the stalking issue. I mean, I wouldn’t mind meeting you in person as long as you are not one of the following:

1. Pedophile

2. Sex freak – not straight I mean especially females :X

3. Sexual predator

4. Abnormal – to me that could mean many things

So I am basically saying, if you got something decent to say, go ahead by all means, share a funny comment or some sorta advice with the rest.. but do not make blogging difficult for us! We do not want to spend our times – offline miserable trying to figure out who you are and why you do this! Efff

    A) I love blogging, do it since -uh- end of 2003, I think.
I would encourage anyone that feels like doing it, do it. If you don’t like it, click the delete button and you’re done ;)

    B) Reading repetitive tips from Gurus about blogging, just makes me wanna puke. But hey, the highway is wide and I know how to avoid them ;0

    C) Nope, it keeps my family & friends up to date :)

    D) I haven’t had stalkers yet.
I guess I would treat them like you gotta treat trolls.
    Ignore them.
Click the delete button, send a prayer for that poor soul and go on ;)

    E) Small ads on my Site don’t give me much, but in two years put together they might pay for the next two years of hosting service ;)
I advertise my own products (and other artists) and some clicks over to the shop result in Sales (for me or other artists :) )

    F) Nope, not as long as I an sit in front of a PC and have fun doing it :)

    G) Absolutely.
And hey, I got a comment on my old wordpress blog from a reporter of the Kuwait times (at least he said he was), about the trash thing in Kuwait ;)

    H) Not really. Most of my bloggy friends are too far away. One is here in Hungary and I might meet her in 2009 some time.

And you know that I am open about who I am. Who wants to find me, can do so pretty easy.
But I warn them, I have mean dogs and know how to do Mikado ;)

    Now, have fun :D
