To Add or Not to Add!
That is never the question!
Being social and having this ability to interact and mingle is never an issue in fact, it is sometimes a curse then again one would think “Maybe I do give people the opportunity to invade my personal space – comfort zone then go complain about it” ! If you’re extra cautious or too friendly, remember those who you let in your life and yes FB (regardless whether some take it seriously while others just fool around in it) is another life! Virtual network, you meet the good, the bad and the fucked up fucking super ugly! I am pretty sure each one of you have had some sort of issue with another fellow Facebooker hence and as I have noticed, those with public profiles go private while others vanish into thin air.
Back to my question up there, “To add or not to add”; When my profile was private things were ok but then again what’s the point of having a profile if people can’t see – not track you down – hence begin what FB was started for! I loosened up a bit and did some changes and the add requests started coming.. no big deal because you can ignore right?
What about those who work with you? I mean how safe it is to simply enter colleagues to a private part of my life? Yes, open person yet no thank you - not just anyone – especially after many incidents leaving me lacking trust in many out there. Get what I am saying?
What’s more strange is requests you get from those you have minimal interaction with at work! Or someone you do not even talk to! So I guess after like rejecting the add for 6th times he quit! Thank God! On the other hand, I am told to be flexible and edit the privacy settings of my albums and wall, I TRIED – no use, someone has to teach me..
What do you think?? I mean we always hear “Work is work – don’t get too personal or socialize over decency limits” then came Face Book! Half of the company are mutual friends on FB when in reality they all back stab each other and do not have a good relation! wth!
Simple rule, I don’t interact with you in reality – virtually the connection should not exist AND you should be someone trustworthy to be amongst my list if you work with me.. Enough crap I’ve been through and no one is bursting my bubble no more! Seriously!

LOL, I usually accept friend requests, even if don’t really remember the person requesting the add, because I am not really loosing anything, although I have photos of me doing all kinds of weird stuff which will get me in trouble if my family knows about them :P
The only people that I don’t accept are those that I am a 100% percent sure I don’t know, like 43 years old woman from Mexico or people that mass add each other and end up having 2000+ friends.
I think it is harder for you girls to keep your privacy the way you want it, specially when it comes to strikd family rules and the image the old people have about the internet and all the neighbors shitty talk and getting married..
I think we have a similar situation, half of my classmates don’t even talk to each other outside the classes yet they are all added on facebook, and then this weird thing happened, after intentionally stalking each others private lives on facebook 24/7 they brought their awkwardness with them to facebook too, now everybody is faking being the happiest, the coolest, the most popular and everybody is ignoring the others in a way of showing no matter how much you try I am the best, and it reached a point were if one of them gets invited to a party or a movie night or to dinner at a friends house, they mass spam facebook with hundreds of photos from the event which probably didn’t take more than an hour or so..
I just feel sick when I brows through my facebook’s feed.
God I feel like a girl :D , more like a drama queen :P

I never understood people with facebook friends in the 300’s..Do you know all these people?? They are all picking into your window!!1 Insane..I have mine under twenty and I still feel its too much. If you dont post pics or what not, then fine..But dude wheres the fun in that??. I am all with you if I havent met you in real life, we have no virtual relationship:P

I made another facebook account for my blog. My private account is my private space. I don’t really have anything in it but pics and to interact with my close friends. Even co-workers from the past I still have them and they were on it while I was working. I just think you need to separate your private life from the blog. That’s all! :)
