Madaba: The City of Mosaics

Madaba is located in the West of Jordan, marked as a holy land; In it lies historical Christian / Byzantine sites and I’ve been only to one of them. St. George’s Church that contains the Byzantine mosaic map revealing holy lands one of which is Jerusalem hence the name!

I wandered around and because the pope – priest was there, I got a bit tensed honestly speaking and wasn’t comfortable taking pics :$ but the road to Madaba and leaving it to head to other sites located in the West side of Jordan was stunning! Valleys and hills omg! Take about car sickness! WOHOO!

Of course, there’s more to [  Madaba ] for those of you reading about this for the first time like museums and an Archaeological park and churches but I had more places to visit and the drive between them is like hours! I love road trip!

Some pics again!
