Mount Nebo – Moses’s final resting place
To be more specific and read more follow [ Wiki ], in brief; The Hebrew name “Nebo” comes from the Torah and that says sayyedna Mousa – Moses (PBUH) is buried there (although I was skeptic of that myself and so are other scholars if you read more on it). It is holy lands located on a mountain and standing up there gives you a view on the valley besides churches, mosaic maps and ruins. It was mainly a center for pilgrims back then.
The day I went, the sky wasn’t clear so I couldn’t see Jerusalem or Jericho across as there’s a plate that indicated directions and distances of the Palestinian grounds but it was cool though standing where the pope stood back in 2000 and taking pics of the olive tree he planted!

Hi Chika! Mt. Nebo is one of my fav places in Jordan, I wish you could have seen it when the renovating is complete.
I’m not much of a scholar, but I did look up where Moses was buried, and it is written in the book of Deuteronomy 34:5-6 “So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth Peor; but no one knows his grave to this day”.
