Aloft Abu Dhabi Hotel
So I am on a 5 day business trip to represent the company at MECOM 2010 in Abu Dhabi, my first time there and I just got the chance to go purchase a screen for the expo from Marina Mall and that’s about it! It’s not Dubai-ish at all! I think I will go there when I get time enshallah but I just wanted to share this fast review of [ Aloft Hotel ] – in [ ADNEC ] which is very convenient honestly, a walk away from where the event is.
The company booked on Al Etihad to land us straight in A.D and I only got to drink coffee on the plane since they were serving snacks only and I am used now to Wataniya’s lavish meals so I kept quiet ;/ bas it was smooth although cloudy and dusty.
What I like about Aloft is the color scheme they have inside, it’s too girly! yeeeey ;p colors every where! and it’s laid back in the sense that it’s not formal – you’ll find pool tables in the lobby and a cute cafe and funky furniture. I didnt go around the hotel yet, will try to take pics of the pool area + the gym along with ADNEC itself which is really cool!
My room is Blue! It’s cozy and cute – spacious enough for 2. Internet is wireless for free and all the amenities you’ll required are available in the room although I bought enough Diet Coke to last me a week ;p

aloft is open!!! loooks so goood..i feel it to be more aimed for the younger crowds..
