I’d like to first thank you good ladies for helping me out with your advice on cooking and recipes, so far I managed to “cook” chicken fajitas and Mexican brown rice which was ready in like 30 minutes just to have something when I went over my parents house instead of walking in empty handed. You see, mama’s been nice enough to feed me and him on daily basis so I decided to give her a break tomorrow and get my food (well, along with what we will get take away ;p)

OOOOH, I forgot to MAKE SURE ALL KNOW THAT this was the first weekend elly I don’t have visitors! YEHA! Not that I don’t want people to visit or drop over but it’s been hectic! Cleaning, food, presentation, late sleeping… etc my first goal of sleeping 10+ hours has been successful and now I am working on the 2nd goal and noooo it’s not what you might  think it is @@. I had only a couple over at Thursday and of course we had to think of something for so7oor. Salads and something light, cheese cubes + grapes, coffee sweets, canapes which were “ok” but the cheese mushed it up :/ and of course since I am an FB addict I landed on a group called [ Kiwi Bakery ]  and I liked their pictures honestly so I gave them a call and ordered on Tuesday for Thursday. After work I had to drop by to pay it off and check the place up myself to avoid any embarrassment in front of my guests.

They have a nice seating area inside and I was telling the husband that one day we try eating there

They sell salads not only baked goods or cakes

Kiwi Bakery’s address

Cool so far!? I paid 18,5 KD including the delivery charge because they don’t have this service as of yet ( by the way Kiwi, the order came late from Mr. Delivery :( ) The portion was big because I was expecting 2 couples but here’s what I got when I received my order

Boxes are nice and practical

Saj rolls with different fillings – my guests liked them, hubby tried most of them and I also ignored my dietitian’s program and gave them a taste. Good but it’s missing some kind of sauce.. I can’t place my finger on what’ missing just to make them rolls perfect like they should be = doesn’t mean they were bad, I am just giving my personal opinion and the dips on the side are good of course but for me a saj roll has to be “wet”

Mr. Delivery brought them cakes mushed up kinda since the dividers are missing from the box and I had to fix them for the picture, the ones shown on FB non the less the cake was delicious especially the mini pumpkin cake and the date cheesecake *drools*

Would I reorder from Kiwi Bakery? Yes of course especially with the new items on their menu like the casseroles and healthy items. Not only that, they can custom make cakes and for more details contact them! With what’s above I served:

Now I dread the fact that I have to rush home inside the kitchen to get Iftar ready to feed 7 persons @@ I AM READY! <– gone bonkers!

annnnd to rap this post up and after quarreling like every newly weds, he surprised me with a much needed gift from my favorite place in Kuwait = SPA TIME *faints* I need a massaaaage and a decent scrub ! so Thanks Boobs and let’s see if I’ll book for you or not ;p
