Raha Stone Mill Bakery & Restaurant (Organic food)

I woke up reaaaaaaaally hungry, I mean REALLY hungry and of course I semi forgot how to cook a9lan I am not in the mood to enter the kitchen so I ate 2 cookies- one for me and the other for her… I was craving fatayer and I scanned 6alabat n’ didn’t find what I want then I remembered this place on FB [ Raha Stone Mill ]. I joined their group ages ago and have been dying to order but at that time they didn’t offer delivery service and luckily, I was so happy to know that I can order and not go pick up the food myself or send the husband (which he wouldn’t have done anyways ;p )
In their own words:
A Natural Food Restaurant and Bakery. We produce yeast free sourdough breads, and pizzas from organic grains that we stone grind each day in-house.We make most of our ingredients including mustard, pickles, Mayonnaise, yoghurt, buttermilk, labnah, pepperoni, and bologna etc.
Made from organic ingredients when reasonable and available.. In this facility organic grains are ground daily to produce wholegrain sourdough breads, pizza’s, and calzones. The ingredients are all fresh, and home-made. Organic extra-virgin olive oil (this particular ingredient is not certified) is used. Raha Stone Mill also serves hand-made samboosa’s that are baked instead of fried. The dough is also hand made without the use of cheap refined, or hydrogenated fats, and oils.
You can check their menu within their photo album – they should’ve enclosed one with the order – and when you do, you’ll realize that they have a different variety of food to order Fatayer, burger, pizza, pasta, sweets and even bread! Bit pricey but that’s understandable since it’s organic and ingredients are made in house. I was confused on what to eat because of my condition so I stuck to cheese although it kills me and again, I am trying to find out what suits Ms. young chikapappi :)

My husband ella yakol fool for lunch! Very generous portion and he loved it and I ate a spoon full, really good and it’s like it’s home made

My husband also ordered stuffed grapevines (stuffed with brown rice) and although I swore not to eat that ever again cuz deep inside I think this dish was what started the severe vomiting with me.. I tried it and man they were good!

I had to try the grilled cheese samboosa… delicious bas very salty for my taste since my diet excludes salt, spices and seasoning

Now this is the real order! We kept it light, fatayer and pizza because yesterday’s dinner was too much to digest and I like their packing and branding

Guess who had cheese fatera!? Again, it’s been a while so anything I eat now is too salty for my taste but it was really good, light and the dough’s delicious! Enshalla when I can eat tomato paste + tomatoes *cries*, I will order pizza!

How wouldn’t order za3tar when ordering fatayer!? Za3tar is not my best friend during pregnancy but I forced baby to try it!

This is my husband’s pizza, spinach with cheese :$ not my favorite combination but he liked it.. I believe it’s called Florintina

On the side, we ordered what is called “meshta7″, some sort of Arabic bread – whole wheat and we both liked it alot – this will probably be devoured at dinner.
Of course, our meals looks like it’s that of vegetarians which we are NOT but the place offers burgers, chicken fatayer, meat pizza as well as other dishes which I sadly can’t eat unless it’s not seasoned and lean – fat free completely *CRIES*. I really recommend you give them a try, I know you’d enjoy it :)
Raha Stone Mill is located the rear parking of Qadsisiya Co-Op and their working hours are Daily 7:00 – 23:00; Friday 14:00-23:00. For orders call 22549106 but pls note you’d be charged extra for delivery since they are affiliates with Mr. delivery.
