Germen Goodies Kuwait

It all started with this on Instagram..

I’ve beenĀ  following Lana (Owner of German Goodies) for a while now and I remember getting over excited for something similar to the item in the pic below:

Except that it was an inflatable monkey – faucet protector which I really needed for Alma because she doesn’t settle in the tub. Tell you the truth, I found it a bit expensive – KD 5 + Kd 3 for delivery! I shun the idea on the spot yet never thought of discarding her items for the future. She later on informed me and she is a straight and honest to God person which makes me respect her more, that those don’t work out fine as we moms wish they’d do so that item is off her list. Anyhow, I immediately contacted her for the bloggers thingy and we spoke over the phone, I don’t want to get lovey dovey here but she’s a sweet gal.. very sweet! She needed a blogger’s review of some of her items and I totally welcomed the idea. She’s out of town now hunting for items from Germany (Her home town) to add on her already packed and versatile profile of cosmetics, kids products and some household appliances of big brands including [ Saubaer ] , [ Balea ] & [ Essence ].

Back to the blogging thingy, I placed an order and Mr. Delivery got them for me. Now, I dunno whether this was for free or included with the total price of the stuff I got = KD 6.500. At the beginning she was totally resilient to the idea of paying for the items but I insisted and it’s fair enough since it’s how she makes a living and she finances her own project from home, I didn’t think it is right to just have freebies.

Items were:

1. Blueberry Shampoo for Alma

2. Blueberry scented bath tablets (colors water)

3. Balea hair mask

That’s what the color of the baby shampoo turns with water and I used the tablets as well:

To cut this short..

1. I like how the Blueberry shampoo smells on Alma

2. Scented shower tabs are cool as well although Alma was alarmed at first because water changed to Blue!

3. Haven’t had the time to use the mask, will do soon enough enshallah.

All in all, German products are known for quality and I was sad for the things I wanted were out of stuck at the time being like the coloring soup for kids besides other items which will be available soon. I like the way she handles her clients, lots to pick from with one set back; Prices need “a bit” of adjustment :p

Thanks for ur post dear :**

Umkhaloodie had the same problem with her son being scared of the water turning blue :/ probably ur cuties are still too young to understand the fun part – atleast I can ensure that it is fun since I took a bath a few days ago in green water LOL smelled like apple and after a while I added a blue tablet and it turned dark yellow/orange YEY – not just for kids :D

Probably Alma would love the princess shampoo & stuff more but sadly I didnt have some of those left :/

And the coconut mask is removed from the stock, which i think is sooooo sad cus I planned to buy atleast 2 dozen for my own use :((
Instead they brought a kinda similar bottle tho. Will post it inshaAllah.

About the 3kd delivery.. It sucks.. But I paid 300kd im advance to the delivery company and get 100 deliveries for it, besides every time they come and bring me the money they got from the customers it counts as one delivery. Was the cheapest I could find for the Area where my Office is. Only solution: we have to move! Amd we will work hard on it inshaAllah once we come back :)

Again thanks for ur post :**

  3. Kitty Says:
