I totally love Atlantis and I have never expected to go to Dubai and not go shopping or sleep for 2 nights wasting precious time off, guess I was THAT tired! I lovvvvve looovvveee loooooove Dubai! <3 LOVE IT - I am only posting a couple of pics since about a gazillion other human beings on this planet already did but again, I LOVE the place!

And to cap this post I decided to share this pic after slicing myself out of it of those Japanese couple! I noticed them roaming around the hotel wearing the traditional Emarati clothes and my husband didn’t bother to listen to me and when he saw them he was like they might be residents of the UAE, turns out not! They barely speak English and I guess they think it’s cheaper and much more comfortable wearing loose clothes over their swimming suit (lady has a hot Red bikini under that abaya ;p )

I NEED MORE TANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN…… TAKE ME THIS WEEKEND ;p (Addressing da man, man copy do you read!? )

9 months of suffering.. 9 months of being deprived decent food since I mainly lived on ice cream and mostly desserts.. 9 months of sleeping like a bear during hibernation.. 9 months of staying home after work started to get me tensed as well as everyone around me (since I throw tantrums excluding no one).. 9 months of wearing 4 colors of the same pants (H&M’s maternity clothes).. 9 months of being smoke free.. 9 months of being bitchier than I usually am and she came along!

The beginning of the whole pregnancy was a surprise although we were planning on having a baby but just about the time I gave up, I came to knew when the ER doctor demanded I get a test and my first reaction was: “How?” of course he had to mock and replied: “You know how it happened” <– DUH! and of course to spare the world my drama and since I was in the mood for nothing, good ol’ blog was abandoned and I think updating will be an issue since little ALMA (That’s my kid’s name) clutches on to me like a Koala! No matter how hard I try to keep her in bed she starts crying wanting to be held all of the time which I don’t mind honestly, I am just waiting for her to be old enough to dress up without puking all over herself and take her out, have her nails done ;p and go around cruising in the car. All moms know that sleeping during this period becomes if I may say a “wish”; Kid has to be fed every 2 hours besides the diaper changing and anything else that comes along yet again I don’t mind since we spend quality time together and I get to “gaga and gogo” to her in the kitchen where she loves to stay it seems in spite she has lots of nice things to do or places to be like her bassinet or that soft mat with hanging toys or her chair! This one is very stubborn (wonder where she got that from!)

I am currently blogging with her on my lap farting (yes babies pass gas like men!) which is making her uncomfortable and since the satellite in the building is not working AND since I managed to do house chores I said yalla, let’s do this quick post before she wakes up asking for her snack.. breastfeeding, was not fun at the beginning but I managed to get along eventually and since we’re talking about this I need to rant out the fact that I am being fed like a cow to lactate and I am gaining weight like never before and this is the most annoying thing to me at this point (My jeans don’t fit no more :( ) so I guess I am going to subscribe to one of those diet centers and hope for fast results. As for work, well.. I enjoy being at home but it sometimes is boring but I don’t know if I would be able to leave kid alone or under the care of a stranger which reminds me, I still don’t have someone to help around the  house although we tried a lady for a month but man got bullestic and decided to terminate her services (a7san) my next plan is to teach Alma how to clean and set her loose around the house with me ! Need I also remind you readers that she clutches on to me to the point that I find it hard to go to the toilet *currently struggling*

So, it’s all about the feeding, changing, bottle sterilizing, clothes washing and burping for now when it comes to this baby. I just can’t wait to have her starting conversations with me which makes up for me feeling that I am missing out on a lot of what’s happening around me… Gosh I feel like am 120 years old! I walk around with a bag full of things for her and bottles and bibs.. bas it’s fun :p 

P.S: Mommyhood teaches you patience so expecting ladies put your stress aside and sleep as much as you humanly can because you won’t be getting enough once you pop baby out!! *Drinks Turkish coffee to stay awake* oh, and expoilt your husband during this period ;p

First time I went there [ HERE ]  I was clueless yet I needed to change and without me even discussing it, she did what I want! I cut my hair 4 times and colored it more than that and she never failed my satisfaction (mashallah). Fatoom’s there for waxing, hammam maghribi etc.. and Rea’s the nail diva ;p

Gloss is special to me because they were in charge of my look for the wedding dinner and I wish I could share pics! Noura (the owner) did my make up which was simple and beautiful – it was so natural and the haiiiiiir ohhh my hair! <3

After 4 nights from the wedding reception, we hopped on a plane to Sharm El Sheikh and although I opposed the town before when my mom and siblings traveled, I found myself trying my best to extend but sadly enough Kuwait Airways el araf (and I say this enraged from what they did to us) o I know for sure it’s the last time I book with them – didn’t have bookings. I had fun, I tanned like there’s no tomorrow! I ate lots of Movenpick ice cream and did all the things I like to do with my partner :D and I thank God I lived to see this day! For those of you who didn’t visit Sharm, take your swim suit, cash for food, excursions and mainly water activities. —> of course you can take extra since locals will defiantly try to rip you off unless you got a big mouth ;)

We stayed at the beautiful [ Jolie Ville Maritim Resort ] which is the best ever! It’s in the middle of everything and has it all! I loved it!

Of course, we took a ride – full day thing (diving snorkeling) to Ras Mohammed with lunch on the boat and I got sea sick and slept on the boat! AHHH

When we came back, we sat down to watch the game between Netherlands and god know’s who (not that I care) and them Orange fans went crazy after the win!

Another cool place to visit is [ Alf Leila wa Leila Batrous] , it’s like a village with restaurants and shows after 10:30 PM, got to know about famous Pharaoh-isc ruins and stuff besides the horses show etc…

Ok! Miro is a male belly dancer! Tito’s nephew (another famous belly dancer!) Damnit he is good!

Of course we took the sand dune buggies along with a Bedouin themed dinner gathering -I drove :)

[ Aqua Park ] is also a very nice place to spend the day and get burned from the sun! It’s a hotel as well !

They have aqua aerobics as well !

We finally made it to  [ Soho Square ], basically a strip with coffee shops, restaurants, some retailers, bowling center and hotels of course oh I forgot bars, pubs and nightclubs ;p I happen to like it very very much!

So what did we do there?! Besides sheesha, eating, window shopping, all we did is walk into the [ Ice Bar ] and order a non alcoholic drink with straight faces and froze our butts off wearing sandals !

[ The Yas Hotel ] in Abu Dhabi is by far the best thing – place in AD and I want to spend the honeymoon there E7EM ! I don’t care if it’s away from everything else, I do not care if it’s hot or humid! I just want to go spend a night there.. After the show, our colleague decided to take us there to see the place and dine in. I counted 4 restaurants and I guess there are more and we didn’t go around the place because we were all dead beat especially after dinner, next post is about Atayeb at Yas :)

After booking 3D, Bilal called to tell me that it’ll be featured on IMAX screens so I canceled the original booking and got seats at 360 which is closer to our house. the hall was packed!!! and the audience were amazing, classy and you could tell they are true Depp – Burton fans..

The movie is a must see! The animation,  graphics, visual effects or whatever technology this movie is produced with, it is just mind blowing and all the details and locations WOHOO! Do I have to tell you about Depp!? *faints* He’s YUMMYLICIOUS that insane freak!! OMG that dance he did at the end of the movie!! and there was no censoring! Hallelujah! I also love Alice’s theme (track)

It’s just great! Sure beats the Charlie and the chocolate factory movie in the booteh! and again, I advise you to watch it in IMAX theaters

To those who don’t know, I’ve been away visiting my in-laws in Tripoli, Lebanon for 3 days and after that I had to drop by Jordan for an investment conference which our company participated in. All in all, it was hectic and I do need sleep and a visit to SPA Time but I sure did miss the man whilst in Jordan… I AM HOME BABEH!!
